HERE, ALL THE ROYAL NEWS YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 29, 2021.

  • Last week, to commemorate Prince Louis’s third birthday, Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a rare pic of their son on a bright red bike (that was taken by Kate Middleton herself). Along with the photo, the couple wrote: “Three tomorrow! [bike emoji] Taken earlier this week by The Duchess before he left for his first day of nursery, The Duke and Duchess are pleased to share a new image of Prince Louis.” Queen Elizabeth shared the same photo her great-grandson.
  • After Prince Philip’s funeral service, the official Instagram account of the Royal Collection Trust shared a throwback image of the prince and revealed information we didn’t know about him. On Friday, the royal family's account then re-shared the post in their Instagram Story, which read, “You may have learned more about The Duke of Edinburgh’s life over the past couple of weeks, but did you know how he influenced the Royal Collection?”
  • The British royal family is slowly getting back to their normal routines after the devastating loss of Prince Philip. Two weeks after the Duke of Edinburgh’s death announcement, members of the fam have all returned their social media profile photos back to images of themselves. In fact, the Kensington Royal and Clarence House accounts seem to have returned to their original pics, while the Royal Family accounts have opted for a new image of Queen Elizabeth.
  • Prince Harry might be back with Meghan Markle in Montecito, but he definitely made the most of family time during his short trip to the U.K. This week, we learned that the ex-royal spoke privately with Her Majesty “on at least two occasions.” “The love and respect he has for his grandmother will always be unwavering,” a source told Harpers Bazaar.

  • The royals have always traveled in style and now, some lucky buyer will get a taste of that luxury. We learned over the weekend that an L405 Range Rover that used to be in Prince William and Kate Middleton's private collection will be auctioned off in Oxfordshire, England next month courtesy of Bonhams. The Baltic Blue Vogue SE was acquired by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2013, and this will be a rare opportunity for shoppers to purchase a vehicle formerly owned by the royals.

  • PureWow’s own Royally Obsessed podcast hosts recently spoke with Omid Scobie, author of Finding Freedom and co-host of ABC’s The Heirpod podcast, about what’s next for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. “It's exciting. I think we’ll actually get to see the things we’ve been talking almost exhaustively about, so to actually see some of the fruits of their Netflix labor, to hear the Spotify series—it was a great start,” Scobie said during the interview.
  • Last week, Oprah Winfrey revealed all of the behind-the-scene deets from her time with Meghan and Harry during their groundbreaking interview last month. “I had no idea that it would have the reverberating impact that it has had and continues to have,” Oprah stated. “I did a lot of preparation for that.”

  • This week, we finally got details on Meghan and Harry’s next event (which is taking place next weekend). The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have signed on as the campaign chairs for Global Citizen’s upcoming Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World. • On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled to the English countryside, where they paid a visit to Manor Farm (which is located about 15 minutes outside of Darlington). While there, Prince William and Middleton tried their hand at several typical farm activities, like driving a huge tractor and meeting the animals. Later in the day, they visited the Cheesy Waffles Project in County Durham. During the outing, the couple participated in a special golf session and took turns teeing off.
