Two New Royal Specials on Kate Middleton & Prince William Are Coming to TV...This Week

It’s been exactly a decade since we witnessed Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding at Westminster Abbey. (We can’t believe it either). And now, to celebrate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s 10th wedding anniversary, we’re getting not one, but two television specials—both of which are airing this week.

The first, called Will & Kate’s 10th Anniversary Special, will air on the BBC on Thursday, April 29th at 8 pm ET. Yep, that’s in two days. Per a BBC press release, the special “will encapsulate the glory of Catherine's breathtaking arrival at Westminster Abbey, as well as highlight extracts from the ceremony and the traditional balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace.”

The second special, People Presents: William & Kate’s Royal Anniversary, will be airing at the exact same time on the CW. The program’s official synopsis reads, “From college sweethearts to tying the knot in the wedding of the century, Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating 10 years of marriage. The Royal couple is now a party of five and redefining the royal parenting playbook while at the same time cementing themselves as the future of the monarchy.”

No word on how the duo will be spending the milestone this year, however, we don’t imagine they’ll be watching either TV program.
