Reese Witherspoon Posts a Loving Birthday Tribute to Her ‘Big Sis’ Jennifer Aniston

From their days of playing the Green sisters on Friends to their current roles as competitive co-workers on The Morning Show, Reese Witherspoon, 46, and Jennifer Aniston's friendship goes waaay back. So we weren't surprised to see that when Aniston's 54th birthday rolled around on Feb. 11, Witherspoon left her a loving tribute on Instagram.

“Happy Birthday @jenniferaniston!” the Legally Blonde star captioned a carousel of photos featuring her and Aniston through the years. “What a gift to get to work with my big sis everyday on @themorningshow. You always give the best advice and endless LOVE and support. I [love] you, Jen! Everyone wish her a Happy Birthday!!”

The slideshow was evidence of their many years of friendship (and the many iconic hairstyles the two have rocked as well). Witherspoon included pics from the set of The Morning Show, red carpet moments (like the time they both attended a Stand Up to Cancer event in 2014) and a whole lot of pics of them hugging.

In response to the kind tribute, Aniston left a comment that read, “Aww I love you sweet sister [heart emoji].”

We can always count on the Your Place or Mine actress to remember her pal's bday: She celebrates it with a different post each year.

In 2022, Witherspoon commemorated the special day by pulling out a throwback video from when she appeared on Friends as Rachel Green's sister, Jill.

“In honor of @jenniferaniston’s bday: the Green Sisters,” Witherspoon wrote, while adding a few green heart emojis.

Good thing Aniston just announced that season 3 of The Morning Show has finished filming, because this post is making us itch to see more of these two together.
