They say “like mother, like daughter” and in the case of Princess Charlotte and Kate Middleton, the royal resemblance goes far beyond genetics—it extends right into the wardrobe.
In a new photo posted to the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official Instagram account for Father’s Day there's a subtle but sweet nod to Princess Catherine’s signature style. The portrait, taken by celebrity photographer Josh Shinner, shows Prince William with his three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis—all dressed in coordinating forest green looks under a blooming cherry blossom tree. William stands with his arms around George and Charlotte, who sweetly hugs Louis in front of her.
But take a closer look and you may have noticed something extra familiar: Charlotte is wearing a green and navy tartan scarf, which just so happens to be the exact one Kate wore last Christmas.
