Prince William Shuts Down Any Talk of Baby #4 During His Latest Outing

As far as Prince William is concerned, three children are enough for the Cambridge family (at least at the moment).

While the duke and Kate Middleton visited Lancashire this week to meet with health staff at Clitheroe Community Hospital, the royal pair connected with fellow couple Trudi and Alastair Barrie, as well as their baby girl, Anastasia. Per People, as Middleton held the child in her arms and posed for photos, the crowd cooed over the sight—but it didn't elicit the same response from Prince William. Without missing a beat, he quipped, "Don't give my wife any more ideas!"

It certainly seems that the Cambridges are thrilled to be a family of five. In fact, Middleton has already donned several jewelry pieces that include the initials of Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3. Also, in the past, the duchess has spoken out about not having another baby.

During an engagement in Bradford in 2020, one royal fan, Josh Macpalce, told Middleton that he sent cards to congratulate her after she welcomed each of her children. In response, she told him, "I don't think William wants any more."

If you recall, back in 2019, the mother of three also caused speculation about a fourth child during a tour in Northern Ireland. Per People, after she met a 5-month-old named James, she told his father, Alan Barr, “He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel broody.”

But when Barr followed up with a question about whether she’s planning for baby number four, she replied, "I think William would be a little worried."

Yep, it sounds like the Cambridge family's gonna stay as a family of five for now.
