‘Live with Kelly & Ryan’ Just Got Another Surprise Guest Host

It's a boys' club today on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Throughout this week, Ryan Seacrest has been joined by some special guest co-hosts while Kelly Ripa takes a short leave (and helps Mark Consuelos celebrate those new episodes of Riverdale). From Monday to Wednesday, Seacrest ran the show with Ali Wentworth, who has previously stepped into the role on multiple occasions.

Now, Seacrest is being joined by an entirely new face, and this one doesn't look quite as similar to Kelly Ripa.

It was announced on the Live Instagram that stand-up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco would join Seacrest at the host's table. The news was first shared yesterday evening, with an Instagram story that said Thursday's guests would include Susan Kelechi Watson, Billy Ray Cyrus and Maniscalco, who would also serve as a guest co-host.

Maniscalco's appearance was also shared in a video, where they said, “Tune in now for guest cohost @sebastiancomedy!” In the clip, Deja Vu introduces him and Seacrest, who are seen wearing almost the exact same suit. Seacrest opted for a slate color, while Maniscalco sported a purple suit.

When the two enter and take their seats, Seacrest looks around and jokingly goes, “Two guys?!”

This isn't the first time two men have hosted the talk show together. Back in March, Seacrest filmed an episode with Harry Connick Jr., which was warmly received by viewers.

And it seems fans loved Maniscalco's appearance too. One viewer commented, “Love it, you guys were amazing. Great seeing Sebastian on the show this morning.” Another wrote, “Love this guy! He is fun [and] good with Ryan.”

We'll have to wait and see if Maniscalco returns to the stage once more before Ripa makes her triumphant return.
