Kelly Ripa Revived This Sparkly Sequined Dress on the ‘Live’ Pre-Oscars Show

The 94th Academy Awards may not air until this Sunday, March 27, but that's not going to stop Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest from bringing out their best, red carpet-inspired ensembles.

Today on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the co-hosts had a pre-Oscars celebration, where they dressed to the nines as if it were already Hollywood's biggest night.

A glimpse of the pair's outfits was seen in a video on the official Live Instagram account, which was captioned, “Today is our Pre-Oscar Celebration! Tune in now!” In the clip, announcer Deja Vu introduced the hosts (who were edited in slow-motion for the video as they entered the room). We can see that Seacrest opted for an entirely black outfit (jacket, shoes, shirt and all), while Ripa revived one of her most sparkly designs.

The All My Children alum donned a gorgeous, blue sparkly dress that she wore last December to the 15th Annual ‘CNN Heroes: All-Star Tribute’ at American Museum of Natural History.

The sequin-covered, ankle-length gown features a rounded neckline and a small cutout on the upper back. In the video, we can see that Ripa paired the glittering dress with dusty blue heels.

Fans showed their love for the hosts' outfits in the comments, like one person who said, “Wow y’all looking snazzy.” Another viewer wrote, “Looking gorgeous & awesome!!! Wonderful Pre-Oscar show & celebration!!!”

Ripa and Seacrest clearly love Oscars season, because the pair will also host another special on the Monday following the ceremony. This will be a continuation of their annual After-Oscars special, and based on the videos that have been posted to get fans hyped, it looks like we can expect plenty of impressive costumes.

Keep killing it, you two.
