Kelly Ripa & Ryan Seacrest Dress Up as Mary Jane & Spider-Man in New Parody Video

While we're already pumped for the 94th Academy Awards, we now have even more reason to be excited, because Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are continuing their Live After-Oscar Show. And to get fans ready for the upcoming event, the duo filmed a Spider-Man-themed video, where Seacrest dressed up as the titular hero, while Ripa took on the role of Mary Jane (MJ).

The clip was shared to the official Live with Kelly and Ryan YouTube channel, where the pair took footage from the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home and spliced themselves in. At the beginning of the video, Dr. Otto Octavius (played by Alfred Molina), says, “You're not Peter Parker,” to which Seacrest replies, “Nope. Ryan Seacrest, here. Your fourth friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.”

Throughout the rest of the clip, Seacrest plays around in his spidey suit, pretending to shoot webs and talking about how good his mask smells. Then, Ripa makes an appearance toward the end of the video, when Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) says, “Scooby-Doo this crap,” and Ripa (dressed up as MJ) goes, “Keep it classy, Dr. Strange. It's the f**king Oscars.”

This is not the first time we've seen our favorite talk show hosts parody roles from their favorite shows and movies. Just last October, the pair celebrated Halloween with the rest of the Live team by dressing up in over 40 costumes for the Live’s Out of this World Halloween special. During the episode, Ripa and Seacrest transformed into characters from Bridgerton, The Queen's Gambit, Ted Lasso, Squid Game and more.

And it seems we'll be getting a whole collection of new costumes for the duo's Oscars show as well. In another video that was shared to the Live Instagram account, Ripa dressed up exactly like Jessica Chastain did for The Eyes of Tammy Faye (including that wild makeup).

The Live After-Oscar Show takes place on March 28 (the morning after the Oscars, of course). We will definitely be tuning in.
