Kelly Ripa is enlisting a familiar guest co-host for today’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan. (And no, it’s not her husband, Mark Consuelos.)
Today, producers shared a behind-the-scenes video on the talk show’s official Instagram account. The clip confirmed that Ripa hosted the episode alongside Josh Groban, who filled in for Ryan Seacrest.
In the video, announcer Deja Vu welcomes the co-hosts to the stage. And right on cue, Ripa emerges from the curtain and walks toward her chair. But instead of walking arm-in-arm with Seacrest, she’s standing alongside Groban, who looks like a natural.
Ripa is wearing a holiday-approved outfit, featuring a long sleeve black blouse tucked into an animal print skirt. She ties in a pop of color with red shiny pumps that resemble a present. Meanwhile, Groban is sporting a tan-colored suit with a mustard shirt and white sneakers.
The caption read, “@joshgroban is today’s guest cohost!”
This isn’t the first time that Groban has been a guest co-host on Live with Kelly and Ryan. Still, that didn’t stop fans from filling the comments section with words of praise for the musician. One person wrote, “I so LOVE @joshgroban his music is flawless.” Another added, “Gotta love @joshgroban [pink heart emoji].” Someone even said what we’re all thinking: “Wanna hear him sing!!”
Perhaps Groban will enlist Ripa for a duet? Hey, we can dream.
