Katie Holmes looked effortlessly put together during a recent public outing.
Over the weekend, the 43-year-old actress attended the premiere of As They Made Us in New York City. Holmes posed for photos in an outfit that was so casual, it resembled something she’d wear to the grocery store with her 15-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise.
Holmes wore a striped button-down shirt that was one size too big, creating an oversize silhouette. She haphazardly tucked the piece into her light-wash jeans but left one side of the shirt hanging loose. FYI, this would be considered a “French tuck” if the shirt was tucked into the front of her pants but loose in the back. However, since she opted for a half-in, half-out look, it seems far less styled.
Holmes accessorized the outfit with a scarf tied around her neck and a pair of black shoes. According to The Daily Mail, the actress was wearing the Bladie loafers by Acne Studios. Although they retail for $800, there’s a nearly identical pair on Amazon for $38.
