J.Lo’s New Engagement Ring Is Beautiful, But How Does It Stack Up Against Her Other 5?

ICYMI: Jennifer Lopez announced that she’s engaged to Ben Affleck (again). And even though we all know the 52-year-old singer isn’t fooled by the rocks that she’s got (gotta love “Jenny from the Block”), J.Lo’s engagement ring is truly a sight to behold.

This may not be her first engagement ring, but in our humble opinion, it’s one of the most gorgeous. Keep reading for details on all six of Jennifer Lopez’s engagement rings.

Engagement Ring #1: J.lo & Ojani Noa

J.Lo’s first foray into marriage was solidified with what looks to be a pear-shaped diamond on a yellow-gold solitaire band. Lopez and the waiter-turned-restauranteur wed in 1997 and divorced later that year.

Engagement Ring #2: J.lo & Cris Judd

In 2001, J.Lo and her former backup dancer Criss Judd tied the knot. This time around the sparkler was an emerald-cut diamond (aka a mini-me version of her ring from A-Rod) with smaller diamonds on the band. The couple parted less than a year later and finalized their divorce in 2003, while she was engaged to another beau.

Engagement Ring #3: J.lo & Ben Affleck

The “On the Floor” singer and Affleck began dating after starring together in the famously bad movie Gigli in 2002. They went on to appear in the movie Jersey Girl, as well as Lopez’s “Jenny from the Block” video. Affleck proposed in November 2002 but called off the wedding in September 2003 just four days before they were set to wed in Santa Barbara, California. At the time, he blamed media attention for the cancellation of their wedding. The couple split entirely several months later, and Lopez stopped wearing the Harry Winston 6.1-carat pink diamond solitaire ring (worth a cool $2.5 million) he gave her.

Engagement Ring #4: J.lo & Marc Anthony

Marc Anthony popped the question with another (even bigger) Harry Winston ring. This time, the stone was a stunning 8.5-carat blue diamond worth about $4 million. He and Lopez married in 2004, had their now 14-year-old twins Max and Emme and announced their divorce in 2010. It was finalized in 2014, but the two singers continue to co-parent their children.

Engagement Ring #5: J.lo & A-rod

Lopez and Alex Rodriguez first met in 2005, but their fairy-tale relationship didn’t begin until February 2017. As J-Rod legend has it, Rodriguez spotted her walking in Beverly Hills, California, tapped her on the shoulder, asked her to dinner and casually found out she was single. They dated for two years before he asked for her hand in marriage on March 9 with a 10- to 15-carat emerald-cut diamond ring with a solitaire band. Needless to say, this ice skating rink ring (valued between $3 to $4.5 million) definitely takes the cake.

Engagement Ring #6: J.lo & Ben Affleck (take 2)

J.Lo and Ben Affleck had an on-again, off-again relationship for years. But after rekindling their relationship in 2021, the pair have been inseparable. Lopez announced that she’s engaged to Affleck in a video on Twitter, where she showed off her flashy sparkler (worth about $4 million).

According to Olivia Landau (gemologist and founder of The Clear Cut), “The new ring appears to be around a 5-6ct fancy green cushion cut diamond set with white diamond side stones that look like trillions. This is actually a very similar style ring to the first engagement ring that Ben proposed with.”

Congrats, lovebirds.
