Jennifer Garner Poses with Parents in Rare Family Photo (& She Clearly Takes After Her Dad)

This brand-new photo of Jennifer Garner proves that she takes after her dad, William.

Yesterday, the Alias alum, 48, shared a candid pic on her personal Instagram account, featuring herself sitting between her parents—William and Patricia—on a porch swing.

There’s no denying that Garner gets her good looks from both sides of the family, but it’s the likeness to her father that caught our attention. Everything from the hand placement to the head tilt is nearly identical. (Like father, like daughter.)

She captioned the post, “Way to show ‘em how it’s done Grandmom and Grandad! Happy #grandparentsday, mom and dad. (Tons of love and special shoutout to Grandma Chris and Grandpa Tim!)” Garner is referring to her grandparents, Chris and Tim.

This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed the similarities between Garner and her dad. Earlier this year, the actress celebrated Father’s Day by sharing a throwback photo on Instagram. If you compare the pic to a photo of Garner around that same age, the resemblance is uncanny.

She wrote, “Look at this face—equal parts mischief and crazy intelligence. Thank you, Billy Jack, for working your tail off, for hugging the world’s best hugs, and for mowing the lawn in the dark.”

Talk about a fantastic gene pool.
