That color is everything

Summer may not officially kick off until June 20, but let’s be honest—Memorial Day weekend is the real start of the season. Backyard BBQs, beach trips, pool hangs… it’s all fair game. And yes, even celebrities are getting in on the summer preview. Case in point: Jenna Dewan, who just share several poolside snaps that are equal parts chill and chic.

The 44-year-old Step Up star took to Instagram to share a photo dump from her holiday weekend, leading with a sun-soaked moment by the pool. In the shot, she’s perched on the edge, legs dipped in the water, eyes closed, soaking up those rays. Her skin is glowing, her gold bangles are glinting in the light—and while the vibe is effortlessly glam, it’s the swimsuit that really grabbed my attention.

At first glance, it looks like a simple orange two-piece with a strapless top. Cute, but nothing groundbreaking—until you swipe. In a later pic, Jenna is all smiles as she poses poolside again to reveal a better view: a sleek monokini with a dramatic side cutout that leaves most of her stomach and back exposed.

“mdw mood,” she captioned the May 26 post, and honestly? Same.

The rest of the carousel gives fans an inside look at her weekend getaway. There’s a clip of her dancing around in a JW Marriott robe, whipping her hair like she’s in a shampoo commercial. She also included a snapshot of a lemon popsicle (that perfectly matches her yellow ombré nails), a mirror selfie in ripped jeans and a white crop top, and she even shared a little of her self-care with stomach cupping. Oh, and of course, a snuggle session with her pups.

If this is a preview of summer 2025 style, I'm already on board.
