Time flies

Kids really do grow up in the blink of an eye. One minute they’re taking their first steps, and the next, they’re posing at music festivals and giving full pop star energy. That’s exactly how I felt scrolling through Jenna Dewan’s recent Instagram post featuring her featuring her daughter, Everly—whom she shares with ex-husband Channing Tatum—and realizing just how grown up she looks.

The 11-year-old made a rare appearance in a series of photos from Dewan and her fiancé Steve Kazee’s weekend at Coachella, and let’s just say: Everly understood the assignment. In one sweet shot, she posed backstage with none other than Lisa from Blackpink (and season three of The White Lotus). In another, she wrapped her arm around her mom, while Jenna leaned her head on Everly’s shoulder as they watched Lisa perform. The duo also snapped a photo in front of Coachella’s iconic Ferris wheel, looking every bit like the coolest mother-daughter pair on the festival grounds.

Everly’s festival fashion was on point. She wore a fluffy pink crop top with matching cargo pants, complete with tiny braids and face gems—serving full Gen Alpha pop princess. On another day, she switched it up with a white two-piece outfit featuring corset-style lace-up details. Oh, and fun fact: she’s now officially taller than her mom.

“Coachella with preteens. Oh so worth it to see these little girls’ dreams come true!” Dewan captioned her post. “@lalalalisa_m @jennierubyjane you made their entire [lives] and pretty sure I will never be able to top this Christmas present.”

Kazee captioned his post simply, “We came, we saw, we were conquered.”

In addition to Everly, Dewan is mom to two more—son Callum, 5, and baby daughter Rhiannon, 10 months, whom she shares with Kazee.
