On Thursday, June 1, the Step Up alum shared an array of throwback photos, which featured her and her daughter, Everly, in celebration of her 10th birthday. The first photo in the slideshow shows a grainy pic of Dewan, 42, holding her little girl (a baby at the time) on her chest.
The assortment of photos appears to have been taken at different moments of her childhood, from the mother-daughter duo enjoying a day on the beach to a snapshot of a much older Everly and Dewan smiling and standing in their home backyard.
In the caption, The Rookie star dedicated a heartfelt message to her daughter on her special day, writing, “10 years ago today this fierce, magical soul entered the world and made me a mom.. and my life has never and will never be the same. You are everything and more to me.”
Dewan continued, “I am eternally, proud and grateful to be your mom. Thank you for choosing me. I love you more than I could ever express!! Ahhh 10….!”
Dewan shares her 10-year-old daughter with her ex, Channing Tatum. (FYI, the pair first met while filming Step Up.) The couple welcomed their baby girl in 2013, before they filed for divorce and broke up in 2019.
