Conversation hearts have nothing on these treats.

If there's any time to go all out on treacly expressions of L-O-V-E, it's Valentine's Day. And even though February 14 falls on a Saturday this year, you want to spend the day with the people you care about, not tediously assembling treats for them to enjoy, say, around bedtime.

While we're at it, could the treat be healthy-ish, in addition to being fast and foolproof? It feels like a tall order, until you take in this sweet little snack.

All you need is pack of flour tortillas, butter (or a flavorless oil, like avocado or refined coconut), cinnamon, sugar, strawberries and Greek yogurt (in whatever flavor you prefer).

Cookie cutters add a whimsical touch that make it easy to get the kids involved, but you could freehand your hearts with a paring knife or kitchen shears. Or simply grab a pizza cutter and slice 'em into triangles. Do what works for you.

Kids really get excited over building their own "sandwiches" and dippers—even ones who normally aren't so into snacking on yogurt and berries. Honestly, it's hard not to be charmed by this 17-minute treat, no matter how old you are.

Ingredients

4 to 5 flour tortillas (6-inch or larger)

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup sugar

1 quart strawberries, rinsed

Greek yogurt, optional (for dipping)

Directions

  1. Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Chips: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. As the oven heats, wrap the tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave them for 20 seconds. (This will make them more pliable and easier to cut.)
  2. Place each tortilla on a cutting board and use cookie cutters to cut out heart shapes. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with melted butter. Combine cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle a little atop each tortilla heart.
  3. Bake tortilla chips for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp. Remove them from the oven and let them cool as you prep the strawberries.
  4. Make the Strawberry Hearts: Slice strawberries in half lengthwise. Then, using a paring knife, cut a "v" shape out of the top, removing the stem, to create a heart shape. Serve the strawberry hearts with the cinnamon-sugar chips and a side of Greek yogurt for dipping.
