Zendaya Just Recreated Beyoncé’s Iconic BET Awards Look from 2003

Zendaya is bringing us back to the early 2000s and we’re crazy in love.

On Sunday night, the 24-year-old actress attended the BET Awards. And while we were eager to see her red carpet look, we weren’t expecting her to sport an ensemble worn by Beyoncé almost 20 years ago. Of course, she was sure to make it her own.

For the occasion, she paid tribute to Queen Bey by wearing a lengthened version of the Versace dress that the icon wore for her 2003 BET Awards performance of "Crazy in Love." She topped off her look with a pair of Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals, Bulgari yellow diamonds and a sleek ponytail.

Both the Euphoria actress and her stylist, Law Roach, showcased her red carpet moment on social media. “Paying homage to the Queen Beyoncé wearing @versace SS2003.....,” Roach captioned a video clip of his client strutting in the gown on IG. “Get you a stylist with a ARCHIVE!!!!”

Zendaya also shared a variety of shots of herself modeling the look from the comfort of her own home. “Full choreo in the backyard,” she captioned a slideshow on Instagram. See the post below.

Of course, we weren’t the only ones loving the throwback. Pal and fellow actress, Storm Reid, wrote, “Okay this is getting outta hand,” while another user added, “Shut it down once again.”

The piece holds a very special meaning in pop culture history. Not only did Beyoncé wear it for her first solo BET performance, but it was also the day her debut solo album, Dangerously in Love, dropped.

Talk about Déjà vu (sorry, we couldn’t resist).
