When it comes to wedding planning, there’s a lot to think about—venues, dates, guest lists, food…the list goes on. It’s a lot for anyone to juggle, let alone when you’re one-half of a major celebrity couple like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Since the pair announced their engagement nearly a month ago, fans have been dying to know what’s next and now we have a little insight, straight from Travis himself.

During the Wednesday, September 17 episode of the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, opened up about how wedding planning is going, thanks to a very direct question from guest Jimmy Fallon.

“Are you working on planning the wedding?” Fallon asked. Travis responded, “That's the next step. That's the next step in it all.”

Fallon, 50, added, “Don’t stress about it. I remember thinking about it with my wife,” to which Travis cut in, “That one’s gonna be easy. I just gotta figure out how to win a football game first.”

Notably, the Chiefs are off to a rocky start this season, having lost their first two games—including a high-stakes Super Bowl rematch against the Eagles on September 14.

“The wedding planning will be easy compared to how to f***ing catch a God damn football,” he added with a laugh.

The duo even veered into the fun details about the upcoming nuptials like whether or not they'll have a DJ or band. “I think we’re live music kind of people,” Travis said.

Taylor and Travis announced their engagement via joint Instagram post on August 26 with the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” plus a firecracker emoji.

The post included dreamy engagement photos—Kelce down on one knee, a sweet forehead kiss and a close-up of that ring.
