Meeting your significant other’s family usually involves some sort of formal-ish gathering—a dinner, a cookout, maybe a show—and, you know, clothes. But when you're Taylor Swift, things don’t always follow tradition. In fact, her first time meeting Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, involved an NFL playoff game and zero shirts.

On the July 23 episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason watched a fan video showing an elaborate lawn art display of himself shirtless, beer in hand, mid-scream. The viral image was inspired by his moment at the AFC Divisional Playoff game between the Chiefs and the Bills on January 21, 2024.

That day, Jason went wild in the VIP box, ripping off his shirt, shouting and even leaping into the stands as the crowd roared. And yes, Taylor happened to be there, seated just in front of him next to Brittany Mahomes.

Reflecting on the wild day, Jason said it was a "really fun day" and added, "Also, the first time I met your girlfriend, so it was an all-timer."

But Jason’s not the only Kelce dishing on the first time meeting the pop star. Back in February, his wife Kylie Kelce opened up about her own first experience during her Call Her Daddy podcast appearance in February.

Kylie revealed she and Jason found out about Taylor and Travis’s relationship before the couple went public during the now-famous "hard launch" at a Chiefs game in September 2023.

As for her first meeting with Taylor? It also happened at that same game and the two bonded instantly over their childhoods on the Jersey Shore.

"We grew up going to the same Shore points," Kylie shared. “Her family was like Sea Isle, Stone Harbor and that’s like the exact areas that I grew up going to.”
