All eyes have been on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce since the beginning of their relationship, with the pair commanding attention everywhere they go.
And while some may speculate that Kelce and Swift go out of their way to seek that attention, Kelce maintains neither he nor his superstar girlfriend call for it intentionally. Earlier this month, the NFL star made an appearance on the podcast Bussin’ With The Boys, where he spoke a bit about his and Swift’s relationship.
“It gets thrown out there as it's like we're trying to seek attention, every now and then,” he told hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan. “But it's like, we're just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games. Kind of introducing her to some more of the sports world.” He added, “We’re having fun with it, man, being a couple.”
While they keep most of their relationship private, Kelce and Swift aren’t shy about publicly showing support for each other’s endeavors.
Last month, Swift made a surprise appearance at Kelce’s Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville, joining Chase Rice onstage to perform her 2014 hit "Shake It Off,” and on the July 2 episode of his New Heights podcast (which he cohosts with his brother Jason Kelce), Kelce gave some insight into how it all went down. “Tay Tay showed up…We’re in Nashville. She grew up in Nashville. She moved there when she was younger. We had this plan for a while that we were gonna have some fun with the tight ends.”
Of the performance, Kelce said, “Tay just kinda went up to [Kane Brown] and the band and was like, ‘Hey, if you guys are down, I’ll go up there and play a song and see if we can pop the roof off this place.’”
With the NFL season just around the corner, I can’t wait to see more cute moments from the couple.
