The 2025 Super Bowl has brought on a whirlwind of emotions for ex-NFL star Jason Kelce.

On Feb. 10, the former center for the Philadelphia Eagles penned a lengthy statement on X (previously known as Twitter) congratulating his former teammates and coaches on their successful win. But that's not all. He then went on to send his support to his brother, Travis Kelce, despite his team's loss that night.

He writes, "That game was odd for me to watch if I’m being completely honest. I knew it was going to be mixed emotions before, during, and after, and I now know what my parents had to deal with two years ago. On one hand, I wanted what is best for my brother, and to see his success. And on the other hand, there are so many people, teammates, and coaches, in the Philadelphia Eagles organization that I care deeply about, Many of whom I owe my own success to throughout my career."

He continues, "As for my brother, There isn’t a person I love or care about more. It has been tough to process these feelings, of course I feel for him and am always rooting for him, but I know he does not need, nor want my pity. He has amassed greatness few on this planet could ever dream of, as has his team, and they should feel pride in their accomplishments this season and in the past." Well said, Jason.

The Kelce brothers played against each other in the 2023 Super Bowl (AKA the Kelce Bowl), with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the Philadelphia Eagles in a very close game. Leading up to the big day, there were running jokes—with even a few wholesome ones from Mama Kelce—about the two going against each other. But in the end it was all love from both brothers. Post game, Travis dedicated his own sweet IG post (that included sweet snippets from their childhood) to Jason, and shared some loving words on their joint podcast, New Heights Show. See a clip of the episode below.

Jason retired from the NFL last year, but still never fails to show great sportsmanship, especially to his brother.
