- This past Wednesday, Queen Camilla was photographed greeting well-wishers during her solo trip to Swindon. The royal family shared a striking photo of the queen taken at the outing on Instagram, which showed the royal (fully in focus) shaking hands with a fan.
- During the public appearance, the queen sported mismatched earrings along with a tan brushed coat with a Vintage Alhambra 5 Motifs 18-carat yellow gold and agate bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels.
- When King Charles ascended the throne, he openly admitted that he wanted to have a slimmed-down monarchy. On this week’s episode of the Royally Obsessed podcast, hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie discuss (with a special guest!) the state of the monarchy given the king and his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton’s recent health issues.
- In an excerpt taken from royal author Robert Hardman’s new book, The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy (which just hit store shelves on January 18), he talks about how the queen’s family would often call her “Lorraine,” which is meant to be a play on “La Reine” in French which stands for “Queen.” However, the king disliked the moniker.

- Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson was spotted leaving a hospital in London on January 24 shortly after being diagnosed with skin cancer.
- In photos shared by the Daily Mirror, the Duchess of York can be seen smiling and waving to fans as she leaves the facility after a doctor’s appointment. In an update, Ferguson told fans that she is doing “fine.”

- Prince Edward traveled to the British overseas territory St. Helena to meet a 192-year-old Tortoise named Jonathan, who is currently being housed at the Plantation House on the island.
- Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, dedicated a heartfelt tribute to his late mom, Frances Shand Kydd, on what would have been her 88th birthday. The throwback photo (shared on his IG Story) featured a much younger Charles with his mom and older sister, Lady Elizabeth Sarah Lavinia McCorquodale.
