Please don’t stop the music, because Rihanna just claimed a highly prestigious title.

This week, Forbes released the 2022 list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, which included everyone from Oprah Winfrey to Kim Kardashian. Rihanna also made the cut, claiming the 21st spot with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion. (She’s tied with Weili Dai, the co-founder of Marvell Technology Group.)

If you sort the list by age, you’ll notice that Rihanna is listed sixth among the women. However, she’s the first billionaire on the list.

This means that Rihanna is the youngest female self-made billionaire. This might sound confusing because Kylie Jenner (who is younger than Rihanna) previously held the title. While Forbes had named Jenner the youngest female self-made billionaire in 2019, the outlet later corrected itself and claimed that it “recalculated Kylie’s net worth and concluded that she is not a billionaire.”

Forbes explained that a “more realistic accounting of her personal fortune puts it at just under $900 million.” (#Awkward) So, even though Jenner previously held the title, it was revoked long before Rihanna claimed it.

RiRi’s success is mainly due to her music career, which she launched back in 2009 with “Pon de Replay.” She also owns two businesses: Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.

Take a bow, Rihanna.
