Reese Witherspoon always delivers in the fashion department.
The Morning Show actress recently treated her fans to a carousel of snapshots from the season four premiere, where she posed in a low-cut all-black dress that featured a huge black bow on the side and a thigh-high slit. Keeping her accessories on the simple side with a silver pair of dangling earrings and a bracelet, she paired her ensemble with matching pointed-toe pumps and a black clutch.
Her signature blonde hair was styled in a side part, and her makeup was kept dewy and natural. Witherspoon posted the photos with the caption, “Love this glam for @themorningshow S4 premiere!” where she received tons of compliments from fans. “Super gorgeous in black,” wrote one fan, “Always beautiful,” added another.
Speaking of season four of The Morning Show, Witherspoon and her co-star/bestie Jennifer Aniston have been on the promotional cycle for the new season, and Reese took Jen by surprise. As it turns out, Witherspoon's real name isn’t actually Reese, which the star revealed in a recent joint interview with LADbible confirming that her birth name is Laura—something Aniston didn’t know.
“I'm Laura Jean…That's my real name,” she told Aniston, who was visibly shocked. “What made you go with Reese for your acting name?” Aniston asked her friend. Reese then explained that she didn’t change her name, as it’s her mom Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Witherspoon's maiden name. Reese is actually Witherspoon’s middle name. “It's my middle name,” she explained, adding, “I'm Laura Jean Reese.”
This made Aniston share her middle name, which is Joanna. “I was today years old,” Reese responded, before asking Aniston if anybody ever calls her “J.J.” for short. “Well, I do now,” Reese quipped when learning that nobody else uses that nickname for Aniston.
Season four is already off to a great start.
