Jenna Ortega never disappoints on the red carpet.

For her arrival at the 2025 Emmy Awards, which is taking place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the Wednesday star paid homage to the classic 1992 film Death Becomes Her, giving her best Isabella Rossellini impression in a daring top made from multi-colored jewels and crystals, which she paired with a high-waisted black skirt that featured a thigh-high slit.

Her shoes of choice were black platform strappy sandals, and she kept the accessories minimal, allowing her bedazzled bodice and vampy makeup to steal the show. Ortega’s daring fit should come as no surprise to people who have followed her fashion journey.

For the Met Gala earlier this year, the 22-year-old arrived wearing a futuristic metallic dress made entirely from metal rulers, which was designed by Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing, and called a “poetical ode to couture and craftsmanship.” Per an official statement from the brand, the metal rulers were placed vertically along her body to “enhance the silhouette to create a bustier gown.”Another standout look from the actress was the Dolce & Gabbana pinstripe suit dress she was seen wearing during the press tour for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice last fall, which nodded to the movie's namesake.

That same week, Ortega was spotted in New York recreating Lydia's iconic school uniform, wearing a Thom Browne ensemble that featured a white shirt, navy cardigan, green plaid skirt and matching heels, along with a book-shaped handbag custom-made by Ozias Paris that referenced the film's Handbook for the Recently Deceased.

If there's one thing you can expect from Ortega's outfits, it's a good movie reference—and she totally killed it with this one.
