Happy Birthday, August! The first-born son of Princess Eugenie and hubby Jack Brooksbank officially turned one yesterday and his royal “mum” took to Instagram to share her joy. She also spilled the tea on his adorable nickname.
Princess Eugenie Just Shared Two New Pics in Honor of Her Son August’s Birthday

In a post—the first since her dad Prince Andrew was stripped of his military titles—Eugenie wrote: “Happy 1st Birthday to our little hero Augie. You are such a special soul that brightens every room with your smile and wave. You have made us so very proud. We love you!”
Two new photos are also included—one of Eugenie, Jack and August at the top of a snow-covered mountain and the other at what appears to be a play group with August wearing a name tag affixed to his back that says, “Hello, my name is August.” Aw.
It’s hard to believe how much has happened in the short span since August Philip Hawke Brooksbank was born on February 9, 2021. Since that time, Harry and Meghan’s Oprah interview aired, Prince Philip passed away and Queen Elizabeth II achieved the monumental milestone of 70 years on the throne.
What’s in store for August in year number two? We hope lots of royal playdates, but time will tell.
