It's so on brand

Meghan Markle has had quite the month. She kicked things off by launching her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, which got a second season greenlit just days after debuting. And if that wasn’t enough, her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, sold out in just one hour. While it’s amazing to see a collection sell out so fast, some unlucky shoppers got an email saying their orders were canceled because the items were already gone even after they clicked “buy.”

Of course, returns were offered but Meghan made sure to add a personal touch. In the email, she included a message to everyone affected by the mix-up and it came with an unexpected sweet surprise.

"My goodness, what a whirlwind this week has been! Thank you for the support. It really means so much to me," Meghan wrote, according to The New York Post. "I was so sorry to hear about what happened with your order, and that due to overselling we are not able to get you the Limited-Edition Honey. Please know the team worked really hard, and we were all so sad when we found out what happened."

While Meghan couldn’t send out the limited-edition product, she did promise something special in return. "When our next limited-edition drop happens, you won’t just be the first to know… you’ll be the first to receive it. No need to order, it’ll come to you in the mail as a gift from me," she revealed.

She wrapped up the note with a heartfelt thank you and signed off, “As ever, Meghan.”

The As Ever collection launched on April 2 and sold out in less than an hour. The brand’s Instagram shared the news with a photo of Meghan in an off-white dress holding a mug, along with the caption, "And just like that… we are SOLD OUT! In less than an hour! Thank you for every last order — stay tuned for future updates."

No word yet on when the next drop will happen, but you can bet I’m keeping an eye out for it.
