As we all know by now, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially engaged, and yes, the internet is still recovering. The couple announced the big news on Tuesday, August 26, via a joint Instagram post featuring a dreamy carousel of photos from the proposal (including that stunner of a ring).

Swifties (and honestly, the entire internet) spiraled in the best way. Within hours, reactions, rumors and insider tidbits started pouring in. But while some celebrated loudly, others opted for a more subtle show of support—like their very royal friends across the pond: Prince William and Princess Catherine.

The couple’s engagement post racked up nearly 30 million likes (and counting). And among the double-taps? None other than the official account for the Prince and Princess of Wales. Yep, William and Kate casually showed their support the way the rest of us do, by hitting that like button. But they weren’t the only royals keeping up with Taylor and Travis’s love story. Meghan Markle also dropped a like on the post.

So it’s safe to say: this engagement just got the royal stamp of approval.

And it wasn’t just the royal fam chiming in. A-listers like Sabrina Carpenter, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lopez, Joanna Gaines, Simone Biles and, of course, her bestie Selena Gomez also showed love in the likes.

The announcement itself felt straight out of a rom-com: Travis on one knee in a blooming English garden, Taylor in a breezy striped dress, their foreheads touching in a sweet embrace and that absolutely massive (and very sparkly) engagement ring. Oh, and the post was fittingly set to the popstar's song “So High School,” and captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” complete with a firecracker emoji.

As for the ring: Daniella Tarantino, VP of Merchandising at James Allen and Blue Nile, weighed in, telling PureWow, “Taylor Swift's gorgeous ring is likely a unique cut just for her, but to our eye it looks similar to an elongated modified cushion. We estimate it's somewhere between 10 to 15 carats total, set on a yellow gold band, likely costing between $750,000 to $1,000,000.”

If the engagement is this iconic, I can’t even imagine what the wedding’s going to be like.
