Travis Kelce’s Dad Weighs in on NFL Star’s Relationship with Taylor Swift

Swifties are understandably excited for the 2025 Super Bowl because Taylor Swift is set to attend the big game to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The athlete recently addressed rumors about a potential engagement after the big game. And now, Travis’s dad, Ed Kelce, is weighing in on the future of their relationship. 

This week, Ed appeared on an episode of Australia’s Today show and shared rare details about Swift and Travis. The proud dad admitted that the Super Bowl will be a turning point in their relationship.

“I think we get past the Super Bowl, I think it’s going to be a very good time for the two of them without the NFL season, without the Eras tour, just them alone really connecting more,” Ed said. “I think that can only be a good thing.”

Ed said that Swift is a “joy to be around” and that she’s very committed to her relationship with Travis, even if she spends her weekends watching sports. “She’s learning much more about football,” he added. “She’s watching football with her dad a lot. She’s watching football whenever she can.”
