Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary this week, and they've marked the occasion with romantic photos at Kensington Palace, as well as with some special family footage they just released on Instagram.
In the montage, the pair are seen hiking sand dunes, roasting marshmallows and running around the gardens of their home at Anmer Hall with their kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. In one moment, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte are even seen riding on a spinning seesaw together and laughing.
While the clip offers a rare behind-the-scenes view of the family, it is special for another reason. The peek at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in parent mode is strikingly similar to a clip that was filmed 35 years ago featuring Princess Diana with her sons.
Back in July of 1986 (in a home video posted here on YouTube), Princess Diana was captured playing with a young Prince William and Prince Harry at their home in Highgrove.
These photos are from the same day, where the young brothers are seen in a matching set of camouflage military uniforms, while playing on their playground set.
Here, Prince Harry is excitedly preparing to go down the slide while mom Diana takes watch.
In a candid moment, tiny Prince Harry slides down and flies between his older brother's legs.
Along with some fun on the playground, the young royals ran through the gardens of Highgrove with their mother. Prince Harry is seen here with a small cut on his nose that he got from a fall earlier that week.
Just a few days prior, the boys were also captured walking around the grounds of Highgrove with their parents, Princess Diana and Prince Charles, in yet another image that is strikingly similar to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's video.
