Prince Louis Wears Hand-Me-Downs from Prince George in Brand-New Royal Family Pics

If the outfit that Prince Louis donned when he met Sir David Attenborough looked familiar, it’s probably because it was previously worn by his older brother, Prince George.

Over the weekend, Prince William and Kate Middleton posted a slideshow of brand-new photos on their Kensington Palace Instagram account which feature their three children: Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (5) and Prince Louis (2).

It didn’t take long for us to notice that Prince Louis’s outfit is a hand-me-down from George. The young royal is wearing a collared shirt under a blue merino wool jumper by Wild and Gorgeous.

His older brother previously wore the combo back in 2016 during the royal tour of Canada. Although Prince Louis paired it with navy blue shorts, Prince George opted for a pop of color: red.

The recent outing took place shortly after Prince William attended a special screening of Sir David’s upcoming movie, David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet.

The caption described Sir David’s meet-cute with the Cambridge children: “When they met, Sir David gave Prince George a tooth from a giant shark the scientific name of which is carcharocles megalodon (‘big tooth’). Sir David found the tooth on a family holiday to Malta in the late 1960s, embedded in the island’s soft yellow limestone which was laid down during the Miocene period some 23 million years ago. Carcharocles is believed to have grown to 15 metres in length, which is about twice the length of the Great White, the largest shark alive today.”

Cheers to recycled fashion!
