Prince Harry Reveals Who He’d Like to Play Him in ‘The Crown’

We’ve always been curious about the British royal family’s true thoughts on Netflix’s hit show, The Crown. Lucky for us, Prince Harry is finally weighing in.

On Thursday, television host James Corden finally dropped Harry’s appearance on The Late Late Show with James CordenDuring the clip, which featured the duo riding an open-top bus through Los Angeles, the 35-year-old revealed that while he’s not against the groundbreaking drama, he definitely would classify it as fiction “loosely based on facts.”

“They don't pretend to be news,” he said in the clip. “It's fiction. But it's loosely based on the truth. Of course, it's not strictly accurate.”

The Duke of Sussex also revealed that he’s more comfortable seeing the way his family is depicted on the show than how they are depicted in the media. “It gives you a rough idea about what that lifestyle, what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that. I'm way more comfortable with The Crown than I am seeing the stories written about my family, or my wife, or myself. That is obviously fiction—take it how you will. But this is being reported on as fact because you're supposedly news.”

Of course, Corden needed to ask who Harry would like to play him in the series. His response? Billions actor Damien Lewis.

We’re not going to lie, we could totally see it.
