Happy Birthday, Prince Harry! The Duke of Sussex turns 41 today and, in honor of the occasion, his wife, Meghan Markle, wasted no time posting a birthday tribute to her spouse on Instagram. But it’s her photo selection that’s making waves.

The pic of Harry, which was taken on his 31st birthday a decade ago in 2015 during an RAF flypast at the Goodwood Aerodrome to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, shows a dashing prince with a very full head of wind-blown hair. His then-surname, borrowed from his father, is also on display on his green military jumpsuit: Harry Wales. (He and Meghan now, rather famously, use Sussex as their last name.)

The prince had recently completed two tours of Afghanistan as part of his 10-year career in the British Army when this photo was snapped. He was also just a handful of months shy of meeting the woman who would become his future wife in the summer of 2016. Meghan’s caption? “Oh hi, Birthday Boy.” (A fire emoji of course follows.)

Her birthday post falls just days after Prince Harry returned from a trip to Europe, which included a long anticipated—but still unexpected—reunion with his dad, King Charles. After visiting the U.K., the Duke made a surprise visit to Ukraine. The unannounced trip came at the invitation of the Ukrainian government, marking a significant moment in his ongoing advocacy for injured service members.

The Duchess of Sussex also notably took to Instagram to publicly welcome Harry home over the weekend with a snap of her As Ever rosé next to not one, but two glasses of wine being poured. Once again, her caption was cheeky: “When your beau is back in town...” it read.

More than anything, the throwback birthday pic shows a smoldering (and youthful!) Prince Harry doing exactly what he loves. As for how he’ll celebrate with his family today? Mum’s the word.
