Prince Harry Just Revealed Archie’s First Word (& the Christmas Gift He Received from Queen Elizabeth)

It feels like just yesterday we got the news that Prince Harry and James Corden were filming a special project on the streets of L.A. (on top of a tour bus, to be exact). Now, weeks later, we finally get to see the finished product.

On Thursday, the television host dropped Harry’s appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. And considering it was a 20-minute-long interview, there was a ton to unpack. One moment that really caught our attention, however, was when the Duke of Sussex opened up about his son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor. Not only did he give details on his personality, but he even revealed his first word.

“My son is now just over a year and a half. He is hysterical. He's got the most amazing personality. He's already putting three or four words together, he's already singing songs,” Harry said in the clip. When Corden asked about his first word Harry proudly responded, “Crocodile. Three syllables.”

The 35-year-old also opened up about Archie’s Christmas gift from his Gan-Gan, aka Queen Elizabeth. “My grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas and Meg said a waffle maker,” he continued. “She sent us a waffle maker for Archie. So breakfast now, Meg makes up a beautiful organic mix in the waffle maker. Archie wakes up in the morning and goes 'waffle.'”

We also couldn’t help but notice that Harry takes his waffle with a ton of toppings. “Bit of yogurt, a bit of jam on top. I don't know if that's the right thing to do. Bit of berries, maybe honey,” he added.

We’re suddenly in the mood for waffles.
