In case you're unfamiliar, Mexican Gothic follows the story of Noemí Taboada, a young socialite who visits her cousin Catalina and investigates her claims that Virgil Doyle, Catalina's mysterious husband, is trying to kill her. So far, we know that both Ripa and Consuelos will serve as executive producers on the series, but this isn't the only project that they have in the works.
In September, it was also announced that the famous duo is teaming up with Lifetime to produce two true-crime movies, which will be part of the network’s Ripped from the Headlines slate. Consuelos said, "We're really excited to be partnered with Lifetime for these movies, they're great stories."
The upcoming films will be in great company, joining a number of previously released titles from Ripped from the Headlines, including Stolen by My Mother: The Kamiyah Mobley Story, Chris Watts: Confessions of a Killer and Poisoned Love: The Stacey Castor Story.
