Valid question

When it comes to parenting, there's only so much you can plan for. No matter if it's your first or your sixth kid, every child is their own little universe—which means what worked once might not work again. Naturally, that leads to questions, second-guessing, and, in Mandy Moore’s case, a moment of humorous honesty.

The This Is Us star recently took to Instagram to share a sweet milestone about her daughter, Louise “Lou” Everett Goldsmith, and with it, she posted a very relatable (and very mom) question. In an Instagram Story posted on June 25, Mandy shared a snapshot of baby Lou wearing just a diaper and offered a few adorable updates.

“Even with a fever from teething and in abject pain, she's still so squishy and sweet,” she wrote. “Also girlfriend is literally off the charts in height. Over 100 percentile. Is she going to look weird in our family?”

Lou is the newest addition to Mandy’s growing crew. She and her husband, musician Taylor Goldsmith, also share two sons, August “Gus” Harrison and Oscar “Ozzie” Bennett. The couple welcomed Lou back in September 2024 and announced the news with a beautiful black-and-white photo of Mandy cradling her daughter while gazing up at Taylor with a glowing smile.

“Lou is here! Louise Everett Goldsmith arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously and right in time for Virgo season,” she wrote in the September 26 post. “She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are. Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our very own big three) and soaking in every moment of this special time.”

From the sounds of it, baby Lou is already growing fast.
