Kerry Washington just proved that black and white outfits don’t have to be boring.

Over the weekend, the School for Good and Evil actress attended the star-studded Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles. Washington stepped out in a patterned dress by fashion designer Sergio Hudson, and we can’t take our eyes off her stunning ensemble.

The polka dot gown featured a semi-sweetheart neckline and a leg slit that almost stole the show. If the outfit looked familiar, it’s probably because it was included in Hudson’s fall 2022 ready-to-wear presentation during New York Fashion Week.

Washington accessorized the look with dainty hoops, a diamond necklace and black strappy stilettos. She styled her hair in a slicked ‘do. She opted for a soft glam look, featuring rosy blush, pink lip gloss and shimmery eye shadow.

Washington’s attendance at the annual event shouldn’t come as a huge surprise because she previously received Baby2Baby’s Giving Tree Award. While Kim Kardashian won this year’s award, other former recipients include Jessica Alba, Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Garner.

This isn’t the first time Washington has worn a dress that was designed by Hudson. Back in March, she rocked a sleeveless peach dress by the designer at the 2022 Producers Guild of America Awards.

One thing’s for sure: Washington deserves all the sartorial praise.
