EXCLUSIVE VID: Kelly Clarkson Debuts Brand-New ‘Broken & Beautiful’ Song

If you’re like us, then Kelly Clarkson’s anthems “Because of You” and “Stronger” constantly get stuck in your head. Well, the 37-year-old three-time Grammy winner has a brand-new song and, we hate to tell you, it’s pretty damn catchy.

Clarkson debuted her new diddy “Broken & Beautiful” from the upcoming UglyDolls animated movie via the music platform Smule, which allows you to sing duets with your favorite vocal artists. Clarkson collaborated with Pink to write the song and called it “one of my favorite things that I’ve ever been able to record.”

PureWow has the exclusive video of the American Idol alum belting it out. Watch (and sing along) below.

“I’m back y’all!,” Clarkson captioned the video. “Let’s sing together on #BrokenAndBeautiful from the #UglyDollsMovie #SingWith Kelly Clarkson.” (Don’t mind if we do.)

In the video, Clarkson dons a unicorn T-shirt and gets her groove on while singing about being a “superwoman” and not needing someone to fix or change her. Yaass, Kelly. Clarkson sings, as the song’s title suggests, that she’s “broken and it’s beautiful,” just like everyone else. For a song from an animated movie, it’s pretty deep. And we’d be remiss not to mention that vocal range. Damn.

Clarkson, or rather her voice, stars in the upcoming UglyDolls musical comedy directed by Kelly Ashbury. Nick Jonas, Blake Shelton, Emma Roberts and Pitbull star alongside Clarkson. The movie centers around the IRL plush toys of the same name (you know, those ugly dolls kids love) and follows a group of them as they try to find their place in the world despite their flaws. Sounds kinda sweet, right?

Welp, we’re going to be humming this the rest of the day. Ugh.
