Katie Holmes Channeled Meghan Markle with Her Latest Date Look

Katie Holmes makes sure to always look her best, even during a quick and casual lunch date with her man. Last week, she even took a page out of Meghan Markle’s style book for such an occasion.

On Friday, the Dawson’s Creek alum was spotted with her new boyfriend, Emilio Vitolo Jr., enjoying lunch on the streets of NYC. For the occasion, the 41-year-old looked casual chic in a pair of light-wash jeans and a blue-and-white button-down shirt. She topped off her look with a pair of black loafers, an undone tie and a pair of sunglasses.

The button-down is definitely on-trend for the fall season, considering we’ve seen a handful of other celebs, including the Duchess of Sussex rocking almost the exact same piece. In fact, Markle wore her striped blouse during her latest virtual appearance at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit, where she joined the magazine's Ellen McGirt to talk about humane technology and the spread of misinformation to online communities. The 39-year-old paired her shirt with a simple gold necklace.

Holmes’s ensemble is the latest in a line of casual-chic looks she’s been rocking while stepping out with Vitolo. Last week, she was seen on another daytime date in New York City with her new beau wearing the same pair of loafers, a black T-shirt and jeans. She accessorized the outfit with sunglasses, her Medium Bubble Notte bag by SHARKCHASER and a face mask (of course).
