Kate Middleton, Prince William and their kids are packing their bags. That's right, the Cambridge clan is reportedly getting ready to move back home.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been enjoying a staycation at their country estate, Anmer Hall. They brought along their three children: Prince George (6), Princess Charlotte (5) and Prince Louis (2). Both Charlotte and Louis celebrated their birthday at the Norfolk home.

But it looks like after all of these months in Sandringham, the family is finally getting ready to move back to their house, Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace in London, according to Hello! Magazine. The return doesn’t come as much of a surprise, considering the children’s classes at Thomas’s Battersea are set to begin next week. Yup, no more homeschooling.

However, while the Cambridges are ready to get back to normal (or as normal as they can), Queen Elizabeth will not be returning to her home, Buckingham Palace, for a while. According to the Sunday Times, the queen is currently enjoying her annual summer break at Balmoral Castle, and while she typically comes home in the autumn, that won’t be the case this year due to the pandemic.

Instead, Her Majesty will travel to Windsor Castle, which is where she’ll stay for the foreseeable future. Although she’ll commute to London for royal engagements, Her Majesty will reside at the Windsor residence until it’s deemed safe to return.

Hey, maybe Will, Kate and the kids will visit Gan-Gan at Windsor?
