Nice surprise

While some The Last of Us fans are still recovering from Sunday's episode, Jennifer Aniston decided to lighten the mood with a hilarious discovery. The 56-year-old shared a clip of the season 2 premiere episode on her Instagram story and noticed she made an unexpected cameo.

In the 12 second clip, Ellie (played by Bella Ramsey) picks up a 2003 People Magazine with Aniston as the cover star. They look thoroughly confused seeing as TLOU takes place at least 20 years later and the mag surprisedly held up despite the world outside.

The Friends alum captioned her IG story, "Of all things to survive the apocalyspe." She also tagged the series, hoping to get some answers (like us).

This IG story comes after many speculated dating rumors between Pedro Pascal (aka Joel Miller himself) and Jennifer Aniston. Paparazzi caught the pair grabbing dinner together last month. According to People, sources say they were having a business dinner to get to know each other better.

Meanwhile, Pascal gave insight into their relationship at The Last of Us premiere. He jokingly told Scott Evans from Access Hollywood that he was trying to convince Aniston to let him be a part of the Morning Show. "That would be a terrible thing. But I would do anything for Jennifer," he shared.

As a fan of both, I have my fingers crossed for a film with these two powerhouses. While we all are (Pascal included) still in denial about *that* episode, nice to at least smile at the silly moment. Thanks, Jen!
