Celebs—they're just like us. Gorgeous, rich, talented and beyond exhausted from parenting young kids. OK, maybe just that last one? But actor Jenna Dewan, star of ABC's The Rookie, made parents everywhere feel seen with her latest Instagram post.
On July 28, Jenna shared a "summer snapshot" carousel post, documenting several small, slice-of-life moments, including photos with her adorable kids and a superhero meme that had me spitting out my coffee.
Scrolling through the slideshow, followers get a peek into Dewan's busy life. She shares a few selfies, including a fit check in her closet and a snap in front of her trailer on the set of The Rookie with her character's name—Bailey Nolan—posted to the door. There are sweet shots of her kids, including her daughter Everly (12)—who she shares with ex Channing Tatum—and two youngest Callum (5) and Rhiannon (1), who she shares with husband Steve Kazee.
And while the kids are adorable, I can't get over the meme she included in the carousel. The meme reads:
Them: Why are you so tired?
BECAUSE THIS IS MY SON
The dialogue is followed by a cartoon amalgamation of Spider-Man, Sonic and Hulk—basically the trifecta of characters young kids are obsessed with at the moment. The meme is all the funnier since it's placed right after an image of Dewan's son Callum bouncing away at a trampoline park.
Prior to this summer snapshot series, Dewan shared sweet photos from a recent mother-daughter trip to NYC with daughter Everly. The pair apparently did lots of shopping and took in Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway.
A one-year-old, tween and Hulk-Spider-Man-Sonic child? I hope this fellow parent can get some much-deserved rest.
