And fans think so too

It’s wild how fast kids grow up. One minute they’re toddling around in diapers, the next they’re asking for a ride to the mall with their friends. It honestly feels like a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it experience. And somehow, watching celebrity kids grow up feels just as surreal. One day they’re all mom, the next they’re the spitting image of dad. Case in point: Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum’s daughter, Everly.

On July 13, Jenna shared a sweet Instagram carousel documenting a recent mother-daughter trip and not only was it heartwarming, it had people doing a double take over just how much Everly looks like her dad. The first snap was a selfie of the two smiling softly at the camera and the rest of the post featured everything from train rides and shopping to theater outings and off-guard moments (including one artsy shot of Everly gazing out over a balcony).

“I cherish these trips with you, Ev!! From NYC to DC… we’ve made these Evie mom little adventure trips a yearly thing and words can’t express how much they mean to me,” Jenna wrote in the caption. “This one felt extra special… we had crazy fun and made memories forever. I am so so proud of you Evieeee!!”

Cue the chorus of “Wait… is that Channing Tatum’s twin?!” because wow—Everly really does look so much like her dad these days. Maybe it’s the blonde hair but Channing’s genes are showing up strong. And it’s not just me who noticed. The comments were flooded with observations like, “Absolutely adorable, Eve looks identical to her dad, wow!!” and “She is soooo beautiful!!! And wow, does she look like her daddy.”

It’s also kind of mind-blowing to realize how grown-up Everly already seems. Just a few months ago, Jenna posted pics of their family weekend at Coachella and the transformation to pre-teen is very real. Time, seriously, slow down.
