Jenna Dewan Celebrates Daughter’s 12th Birthday with Nostalgic Photos—And the Duo Shares This Striking Similarity

It's Everly Tatum's 12th birthday, a major milestone for Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum’s only daughter. It feels like just yesterday (okay, April) when Jenna shared photos of Everly vibing at Coachella. And now, she’s officially one year away from her teenage era. Naturally, Jenna took a moment to reflect—and share a few nostalgic pics in the process.

In an Instagram post shared on June 1, The Rookie actress included a mix of sweet throwbacks and more recent moments to celebrate Everly’s big day. The lead photo shows Jenna in a pink robe, sitting on the floor while Everly balances on her shoulders mid-snack. From there, we get a selfie of the mother-daughter duo, a chill candid of Everly lounging outdoors and several snapshots from throughout the years—including toddler Everly, a few fun shots of her experimenting with colorful hair streaks ranging from blue to pink and one of her holding a newborn (likely one of her half-siblings). Jenna is also mom to two younger children she shares with fiancé Steve Kazee: 5-year-old Callum and baby Rhiannon, born in June 2024.

While the photos were definitely like scrolling through a time machine, there was one detail that caught my eye. As I was scrolling through, I did notice that Everly and Jenna share a stirking similarity: their piercing green eyes. And after a quick Google search, I learned that Channing's eyes are green too. I guess the green-eyed genes truly do run in that family.

Jenna also included a heartfelt caption alongside the carousel post. "I get so emotional on your birthdays Evie because there are just no words to express it all," she began.
