Leave it to Hilary Duff, 35, to serve chic-casual realness on her latest appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Before her appearance on the talk show to promote the new season of How I Met Your Father, the actress shared a sneak peek snap of her outfit with fans on Instagram. The very first pic in the photo slideshow shows Duff striking a pose next to a window overlooking New York City. Duff is rocking a High Rise Florence Flare Trouser from Reiss ($225) with a white silk shirt, a pair of black open-toed heels and a matching floral bowtie.

During a special segment called the #LiveFashionfinder, the Younger star had a chance to spill all the deets about her off-white look. In the short clip shared to the Live Instagram page, Duff dishes on every piece of her outfit, sharing that her cream top came straight from Zimmermann and her black heels are from Celine.

While on the show, the Cadet Kelly alum had a chance to talk about everything from the second season of HIMYF to her Disney Channel days on Lizzie McGuire. In one segment, Ryan Seacrest reveals that he was watching the daytime talk show back when the young child star made her first-ever guest appearance.

Then, a throwback clip from May 2002 flashes across the screen, showing Duff making her Live debut. Kelly Ripa goes on to say she has so many fond memories of the actress, sharing that Duff's been so “sweet” and “kind” throughout her career.

Hilary, you look absolutely stunning (as always).
