We can't believe this fact we just learned about Henry Golding.

Before the Snake Eyes star became a leading man, he worked as a hairdresser on Sloane Street in London. And during that time, it seems the 34-year-old actor had a few brushes with royalty.

In a recent interview on the After Show of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Golding revealed that he actually cut the hair of someone very close to the royal family: Kate Middleton's brother, James.

When asked by Cohen if he had met any members of the royal family, Golding said, “I don't know if I should say, but Kate Middleton used to come to the hairdresser's that I used to work at...way before all of this ever happened.”

However, while Golding never cut the duchess's hair himself, he said, “I cut her brother's hair a long time ago...Really really sweet family, very sweet family. That's my brush with the royal family.”

Cohen followed up by saying, “You know, if you're James Bond, you're gonna be having dinner at the palace with the queen,” which was in reference to rumors that Golding might take on the role of Bond now that Daniel Craig is stepping down. “I mean—I guess that comes hand in hand,” Golding joked.

While Golding spent his early adulthood cutting some royally-related hair, he eventually moved to Kuala Lumpur at the age of 21 to pursue acting roles. Nine years later, he would land the part of Nick Young in Crazy Rich Asians, which quickly made him into a global superstar.

We think we need to book an appointment at this hair salon.
