Anna Faris Secretly Tied the Knot with Fiancé Michael Barrett: ‘He's Now My Husband’

It looks like some congratulations are in order for Anna Faris!

The House Bunny actress just spilled major news in the latest episode of her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified. About one hour and 19 minutes into the installment, Faris revealed that she and cinematographer Michael Barrett secretly eloped.

While discussing her relationship with Barrett, Anna said, “I'm looking around just so, my fiancé's right—he's now my husband,” she whispered into the microphone. “Yes, we eloped...I'm sorry...I just blurted that out. But I just feel like I can't say fiancé anymore.”

Faris's bombshell even shocked her fellow host, April Beyer, who excitedly responded, “What? What?! You did?” (And we had the exact same reaction.)

The actress offered a few more details, saying, “It was awesome. Yeah, it was great. It was at a local courthouse up in Washington state.” She later added, “Everything about it just felt right.”

News of the couple's engagement was first revealed by Faris's Mom co-star, Allison Janney, back in January 2020. “I know she’s been engaged for a long time,” she told Us Weekly. “I kept it very quiet, I’ll have you know! So, I celebrated with them a long time ago.”

While the pair kept their engagement under wraps for a while, Faris also hid her engagement ring—that is, until we got a glimpse last year, when Faris posed with pal Jason Biggs and showed off her cushion-cut yellow diamond.
