What do we love most about Sweet Magnolias (other than its feel-good storyline and lovable cast)? The laid-back farmhouse style that’s showcased in Maddie Townsend’s sweet, 1890s farmhouse. “Stylish but effortless, [Maddie’s living room includes] a mix of newer furniture, antique store finds and family heirlooms,” says production designer Aimee Holmberg in an interview with Country Living.

If you haven’t seen the show, the living room features everything from reclaimed vintage furniture and cottagecore-style decor to original botanical artwork that creates an effortless and inviting aesthetic. Think: Joanna Gaines style with a colorful, eclectic twist. “To bring the interior to life, [we] embraced a palette of soft warm neutrals and floral patterns, with punches of more vibrant teals, corals and blues to keep it fresh,” Holmberg adds.

Below, find five pieces of decor and furniture you can use to recreate Maddie’s living room look as you await news of whether there will be a third season of the show.
