Kate Middleton’s evergreen-hued Christmas coat may have captured the most attention at her annual “Together at Christmas” concert last week, but there was another blink-and-you-miss it sartorial detail we spotted peeking out: A tartan skirt. But it wasn’t just any old tartan skirt—no, Catherine’s past-season Miu Miu style is crystal-embellished (and beyond festive).

Royal fan accounts were the ones to ID it, sleuthing out the exact skirt based purely on the Princess of Wales’s arrival at Westminster Abbey on December 5. As you can see in the video above, there’s a clip from inside the concert where Catherine is crouching down to greet one of her many, many guests. (It’s a moment sandwiched between her charming interaction with Eugene Levy and just before she says hello to Mary Berry—what a night!) That’s when you’ll notice the light catches the sparkle on her otherwise traditional-seeming skirt.

The price tag? It’s not cheap—the Miu Miu skirt was priced at approximately $2,200 when it first came out. But, in the same vein as Catherine’s Christmas coat, it’s proof that investing in a seasonally-specific piece or two is worth it when it comes to dressing for the occasion. (In fact, Catherine’s choice has us weighing our own options—like this plaid sequin number—when it comes to adding a touch of sparkle to our holiday attire.) Still, for the Princess of Wales, this concert—her fifth in a row—is her royal moment to shine.

That said, based on early footage from inside the abbey, it doesn’t appear that she removed her Catherine Walker coat at all? But that only adds to the surprise element—and yields a ton of sartorial fun.
