This Brand-New Show Is Already #2 on Netflix—and It Looks *So* Good
Need new streaming content on Netflix? Introducing Tiny Pretty Things, which is basically a cross between Black Swan and Pretty Little Liars. The series just premiered earlier this week, and it’s already claimed the number two spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched TV shows.
So, what is Tiny Pretty Things about? Here’s everything you need to know.
1. What is 'Tiny Pretty Things' about?
Tiny Pretty Things is based on the namesake book by Dhonielle Clayton and Sona Charaipotra. It tells the story of three dancers who are enrolled at an elite ballet school. The problem? They all share the same dream: to be the prima ballerina. They’ll do anything to get to the top, even if it means sabotaging their competition.
2. Is there a trailer?
Absolutely. The clip introduces viewers to the thrilling story line, which begins with an attack on the star student. When the school appoints a replacement, she’s thrown into a world of pranks and betrayal.
The voiceover says, “If a ballerina falls hard, and nobody’s there to catch her...does she still make a sound?”
3. When does it premiere on Netflix?
Tiny Pretty Things premiered exclusively on Netflix on December 14. It took less than a day for the series to shoot up to the number seven spot on the streaming service’s list of most-watched TV shows.
4. Who's in 'Tiny Pretty Things'?
The cast of Tiny Pretty Things includes Lauren Holly (Monique), Kylie Jefferson (Neveah), Casimere Jollette (Bette), Daniela Norman (June), Brennan Clost (Shane), Michael Hsu Rosen (Nabil), Damon J. Gillespie (Caleb), Bayardo De Murguia (Ramon), Barton Cowperthwaite (Oren), Tory Trowbridge (Delia), Jess Salgueiro (Isabel) and Anna Maiche (Cassie).
5. Will 'Tiny Pretty Things' return for season 2?
Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed Tiny Pretty Things for season two. Based on how popular the series becomes, we wouldn’t be surprised if that changes in our near future.
